Russia sees prospects in development of Yenisei–Khatangskaya zone
MOSCOW, Oct 30 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Federal Mineral Resources Agency believes that development of the Yenisei–Khatangskaya oil and gas zone in Western Siberia, is promising, head of the authority Yevgeny Kiselyov told reporters on Wednesday.
“We expect that the chances of the discovery of new deposits are very-very high,” Kiselyov said.
The official said that the authority plans to auction parts of the eastern sector of the Yenisei-Khatangsky trough in 2020–2021.
The Tsentralno-Olginskoye deposit, located in the zone, is a halted project because the price and technology of development are unclear, Kiselyov said.
